UK Rail suppliers are invited to attend an in-person briefing on 18 June at 11am at the RIA Lounge on stand M99 at Rail Live! to learn about the Ulaanbaatar metro project, an event not to miss.
The Ulaanbaatar (UB) metro project is the first significant infrastructure project since the Soviet era. The UB team want to work with UK Export Finance to finance the £2.45bn project and are looking to encourage UK suppliers to engage with the project. The 19.4km route aims to carry 17,000 PPHPD with 15 stations and one depot running 19 6-car trains.
The UB Metro team have appointed Dohwa Engineering as leading consultants and with Crossrail International as strategic Advisors. The RFP has been issued for EPC contractor.
Mr T. Munkdalai, Project Director at Ulaanbaatar Metro will present the requirement, the route, benefits, project timelines, project concept, costs and funding for the project and answer any questions.
RIA and the DBT will also be at the event to support UK companies.
There is no need to register for this walk-in event, we hope to see you there on the day.
