Off-grid Relocatable Charging Assembly
The ORCA Rapid Deployment Case houses an EFOY fuel cell, 10L methanol fuel cell canister and a 100Ah smart lithium battery. The full range of EFOY fuel cells can be accommodated within the ORCA case. This allows the user to tailor the system to their power requirements. DC power output ranges from 40W to 125W.
The ORCA can be deployed in under 10 minutes for short term operation or for extended periods in locations difficult to access with fixed power supplies.
The outer case is constructed form impact resistant NK-7 resin and is stackable, offering space saving and efficient transportation to site. It has multiple fixed handles including a two-stage retractable handle and built-in wheels. With the fuel cell canister removed, the ORCA falls within the HSE category of single person lift. The case uses all stainless-steel hardware, including the two reinforced padlock loops.
Unique to the ORCA is the application of LEMUR-AG15 to provide passive thermal management. This effectively mitigates the risk of heat generated by solar gain. The case vents allow cool air to feed the Fuel Cell while a ventilation system efficiently extracts the warm exhaust gas directly to the atmosphere. This design allows the ORCA to operate in a wide range of harsh environments.
