NROL is a software application used by Network Rail to manage the delivery of heavy materials and equipment for engineering works. It involves planning (typically 12 months ahead), monitoring and management of the delivery (24/7 monitoring and adjustments), and reviewing. The primary customer is Network Rail Supply Chain Operations (SCO).  NROL3 provides real-time data on train movements, track conditions, and other critical information, enabling rail operators to plan and coordinate train services, including possession arrangements, with greater accuracy and efficiency. This system, designed and maintained by SEA Ltd, enhances operational efficiency and service quality.
