Working with other VP companies including ESS, TPA and Groundforce, we partner with customers to provide a comprehensive equipment, service and solutions range backed up by a central hire desk of rail industry experts and a UK-wide site survey team available to support all project types. Product ranges include small plant, lighting, communications, off track and operated plant provision.

Offering a 24/7 national breakdown service and a fleet of over 60 mobile engineers, we have the largest UK fleet of rail equipment ready for both short-time and long-term hire in the rail industry, including a managed lighting service. As well as equipment hire, we also offer operatives for all equipment, if required.

Current rail partners include Network Rail, Amey Rail, Balfour Beatty Rail, Keltray, and Volker Rail to name but a few. Our longstanding service provision to Network Rail now means we are responsible for the asset management of several thousands of their assets and plant supply and specialist operated services on all maintenance and renewal works that Network Rail undertakes. With an enviable record of achieving over 95% of our customer’s fleet in service, the team are relied on 24/7 and 365 days a year, never more so than over the Christmas and New Year period when passenger services cease. Over the Christmas / New Year period of 2023 the team were busy on the Trans-Pennine project as well as other track renewals work replacing life expired track near York.
