British Steel announces headline sponsorship of Rail Live 2025

With over 7,000 rail professionals attending over the 2 day event at Porterbook's Long Marston Rail Innovation Centre in Warwickshire, Rail Live is rightly billed as the leading event in the industry.

This year the event will be held over 18-19 June and promises to provide an unrivalled opportunity for industry professionals to network, compare products and make buying decisions in a real railway environment.

As 1 of 3 headline sponsors, British Steel will be exhibiting at the entrance to the new Sustainability Village - a new zone dedicated to showcasing sustainable practices and products.

Craig Harvey, British Steel’s Commercial Director, Rail, said: “As the UK’s only manufacturer of rail, we are delighted to be working in partnership with Rail Live and to be sponsoring this year’s event. It promises to be a superb event, and we’re looking forward to showcasing how we’re building a sustainable future for our business, our employees, our customers, and the communities in which we operate.”

Katie Gordon–Hill, Exhibition Director, Rail Live, also commented: “We are incredibly delighted to have British Steel as our sustainability sponsor for Rail Live. Sustainability is one of the key focuses of this year’s event with several talks and demonstrations dedicated to the topic, including coverage on climate resilience, alternative energy and sustainable engineering all featuring.  British Steel’s presence and contributions to the show will only strengthen the show within the rail community and provides our visitors a broad and diverse range of suppliers to engage and interact with during their time at Rail Live.”
