Belvoir Rail to Demo Fotokite Tethered Drone at Rail Live 2025

Belvoir Rail is set to bring something truly different to Rail Live 2025, a live, working demonstration of Fotokite, the IP55-rated tethered aerial system that is changing how rail professionals monitor, manage and respond to activity on site.
Engineered for the realities of railway environments, Fotokite offers a new level of on-site awareness without the complications of traditional drones. It deploys at the push of a button, flies up to 45 metres, and streams both standard and thermal video directly to teams on the ground or remote command units – all without the need for piloting skills or GPS.
Unlike other drones, Fotokite’s tethered design enables continuous operation with no flight time limits, making it ideal for extended monitoring, surveillance and ongoing site activity.
Fotokite is built to work where you work. Rated IP55, it can operate in wind, rain and temperatures from -10 to 40 degrees Celsius, making it a dependable tool for live construction sites, possessions, and surveillance in all conditions. It mounts directly to vehicles or can be deployed from its own compact base unit, so it goes where your teams go.
For those tasked with site safety, planning or operations, Fotokite offers immediate overhead visibility of challenging or high-risk areas, from level crossings and high trespass zones to large infrastructure projects and emergency situations.
Whether monitoring works in progress, inspecting hard-to-reach structures, or supporting real-time incident response, Fotokite provides clear, live data to help teams stay informed and make faster, safer decisions.
Live throughout Rail Live 2025, Belvoir Rail will be demonstrating how Fotokite works and how it can be integrated into rail operations of all sizes. Attendees will have the chance to see the system in action and speak with the team about practical applications in the field.
If you are responsible for site safety, operational oversight or incident response, the Belvoir Rail stand is one to put on your list. Come and see Fotokite in action at Rail Live 2025.
